Thyssen’sche Handelsgesellschaft mbH (THG), a renowned German Family Office located in Mülheim an der Ruhr, is acquiring a majority stake in SPIGGLE & THEIS Medizintechnik GmbH (“SPIGGLE & THEIS“) with immediate effect. SPIGGLE & THEIS was founded by David Spiggle and Detlef Theis in 1994 in Dieburg. In 2003 the company moved to Overath where it is still located today. The business of SPIGGLE & THEIS is related to the development, production and distribution of medical products for the ENT segment. SPIGGLE & THEIS has an unmatched portfolio almost entirely dedicated to ENT with a specific focus on the surgical segment. With more than 3.500 products shipped to over 75 countries worldwide, SPIGGLE & THEIS has a strong international footprint and has developed into a major player in global ENT over the past years.

The product portfolio comprises a wide range of instruments and consumables dedicated to ENT surgery. Furthermore, SPIGGLE & THEIS provides specific surgical equipment dedicated to the treatment of the Eustachian Tube as well as a broad range of implants, sterile covers and other products.
